Valdez Architects can computer model the house on the geography of the land, making it easy to see the finished product in three dimensions. It can be difficult to visualize a home from just looking at a flat drawing. Valdez Architects are fantastic and showing your home in 3D and using their computers to move throughout the home as you would be walking through it … almost like you were standing in the room turning right, then turning left.

Make sure the furniture you want will fit in the size of the rooms and that the art you are interested in will look appropriate in the space it goes.  Much of the art I loved would not work on the available walls.  Andrea Valdez is fantastic at this not only sizing issues but also with creating a cohesive esthetic for the home.

Think of the home as a human body and the furniture and art as clothing & jewelry. Choose materials and colors for the structure that will withstand the test of time, not becoming dated too soon as the art and furniture can easily be changed but the structure is more permanent.
